Hi there! We’re Jennifer and Omar, the team behind Morocco Awaits.

Our story began in 2018 when I (Jennifer) took my first solo trip to Morocco. On the last day of my visit, Omar was my driver, and what was supposed to be a ride from my riad to the airport, turned into a full 12-hour adventure. We spent the entire day together, journeying through Morocco, chatting the entire way. We stayed in touch after the trip, and over time our friendship grew.

Our unique bond, combined with our shared love for Morocco, is what inspired us to start Morocco Awaits. We spent the past few years exploring every corner of Morocco together, from the vibrant souks of Marrakech, to the tranquil dunes of the Sahara (and the secret tourist-free spots in between), and we’re excited to share it all with you!

We believe travel is about more than just visiting new places—it’s about building connections and experiencing a place. Whether it’s with the land, the people, or each other, we want every traveler to leave with a piece of Morocco in their heart.
